Black Cumin Seed Oil - Jiraka

Black Cumin Seed Oil - Jiraka

- From Hippocrates and Cleopatra, to King Tut and the civilizations that followed, a strange commonality they shared was the value they placed on a certain herb. That herb is no other than black seeds.

It is the powerful anti-inflammatory compounds were probably the main reason why King Tut was found to have a bottle of black seed oil with him in his tomb , wishing to take it to the afterlife. “Use Black seed regularly, since it is a cure for every disease except death” (Prophet Muhammad) , and its many uses have earned Black Cumin the Arabic approbation “The Blessed Seed“

- Macroscopically, seeds are small dicotyledonous, trigonus, angular, regulose-tubercular, 2-3.5mm×1-2 mm, black externally and white inside, odor slightly aromatic and taste bitter. Microscopically, transverse section of seed shows single layered epidermis consisting of elliptical, thick walled cells, covered externally by a papillose cuticle and filled with dark brown contents.

The seeds of Nigella sativa are used as a spice in Indian and Middle Eastern cuisines.

SKIN HEALTH Nigella sativa oil is jam packed with essential nutrients for healthy skin, including vitamins A, B, and C, calcium, potassium, magnesium, zinc, trace elements and omega oils. These all help restore the natural health and vitality of the skin, as well as any recovery and repair needed.

Thanks to black seed oils high antioxidant levels, essential nutrients and anti-inflammatory effects, black seed oil may even help reduce inflammation in the case of skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema and acne. If the skin condition is related to an allergy, then as a natural anti-histamine, Black seed oil is an ideal skin care aid.

The oil can be taken orally or applied and massaged directly into the skin, helping to moisturize and provide nutrients for the skin, as well as helping to bring down skin inflammation. The nutritive properties in the oil may also help in the repair and regeneration of damaged skin. Black seed oil is simply an extracted oil substance produced by the squeezing and compression of black seeds.
